The four rapid response vehicles above were purchased with money raised through fundraisers by the dedicated and hardworking volunteers of the Toney Fire Department.  Thanks so much to our great community and all of those who support this department.  All four are 2003 models and have replaced all but one of our current fleet of 1993 models.  We are working very hard to try and replace the last one by the end of the year.  You might ask what are these vehicles for?  All are assigned to an EMT and kept at one of their homes.  Each vehicle is equipped with an AED, splints, C-collars, lock-out kit, and other miscellaneous emergency equipment.  These vehicles serve as a first response to multiple types of emergencies including EMS calls, MVA's, structure, vehicle and grass fires, children locked inside a vehicle, and numerous other uses.  We feel these vehicles provide an invaluable service to Toney as well as our neighboring communities.
